Murphysboro Elks Lodge 572 will be having a Valentine’s Dance for Individuals that participate in START services.

START Community Day Services and Administrative Office will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Murphysboro Elks Lodge 572 will be providing a holiday meal for START individuals. Please reserve a seat for all individuals and team members that plan to attend with Abbie by December 5th.

START Individuals will be having a holiday party at the Davis-McCann center. Pizza, drinks, treats, music, and a visit from Santa will be included thanks to the generous donations from our community partners.

Help make this holiday season extra special for our residential individuals by contacting or stopping by the Depot to select a tag from our Giving Tree. Unwrapped gifts are to be returned by December 13th.

START individuals will be participating at the SOIL Special Olympics Bocce Ball event in Marion, IL today.

START will be hosting Rainbow Ranch Petting Zoo, as well as an array of games and activities for our participants to enjoy today!

Murphysboro Apple Festival and Luehrs’ Ideal Rides provide an opportunity for individuals and students with disabilities to participate in this special event.

Registered individuals will be participating the the Special Olympics Bowling Singles event at S.I. Bowl in Carterville, IL.
